Indian bowlers raised this time to show what India can do with bowling unlike last match..... our three pacers took 3 wickets each and Harbhajan took one wicket. But still i amnt convinced about the decision of taking Harbhajan into the team, first of all this pitch isn't supporting spin at all, he isnt a form and we have yuvaraj if we need a spin bowler. Instead of Harbhajan we could have taken one more batsman and strengthen our batting order. I wish you all the best for the Indian team we got great start though we messed up with Broad, still we can win this match....so wish you all the best... BEFORE departing for India, I had friends and family passing on travel tips, advice and personal experiences. Some of it good, and some of it worrying. As this was my first trip overseas, I needed to take it all in. But with any challenge in life, I like to have an open heart, clear head and positive attitude. This was not just a holiday abroad, this was a job and nobody could prepare me to become a cricket-loving, cheerleading, IPL girl but me!Already three weeks have passed and in that time I cannot believe how a group of normal girls can become instant celebrities! Each team of ten girls has a manager and we all receive strict instructions from them about safety, behaviour and reputation, as it seems girls from previous years did not heed the rule book!
For example, if people ask why we are in their country, we have to say that we are friends on holiday. The majority of Indians are cricket crazy, glued to their televisions, reading the papers, supporting their teams. So as the tournament kicked off, it became pretty obvious we were not telling the truth!
On our days off, we are free to explore and take in what India has to offer but its not always easy. You can just imagine, a group of fit, easy on the eye, western ladies cruising the congested busy streets…
To the citizens, we are practically like walking porn! All eyes are on you all the time; it is complete voyeurism. The women double take, see you and then pretend you do not exist. The men see your face, then your boobs, your butt, and then your boobs again! As we walk, all you hear is “IPL, IPL!” with a little head jingle!
Usually only after day matches there is an exclusive after party and at night is when it all happens. The music pumps, the drinks flow and the cricketers come and go. We mingle and associate with important people of the IPL wearing their finest and sexiest, sponsors of all sorts, media and fashion shows, even Indian MTV! But the real funhappens in the VIP rooms where the players and night owls can cause scandal! The few Indian players we have met, such as MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have been very polite and keep to themselves in the dark corners. Hotshots like Tendulkar with families at home are never present. The likes of Jonty Rhodes and Albie Morkel are notorious for having a good time with friends!
‘Ol Graeme Smith will flirt with anything while his girlfriend lurks behind him. The Aussies are fun but naughty, such as Aiden Blizzard and Dan Christian. By the end of a crazy evening, a certain someone had played kissing catchers with three girls known to me only, although he has his own girlfriend back home. He cooed to each girl, “Come home with me, I just want to cuddle!’
Oh, please! I have come to realise that cricketers are the most loose and mischievious sportsmen I have come across. Makes me wonder if I should worry about them more then the commoners on the street! I still have a long while here, so I shall keep my tip list in mind.

V V S Laxman battled severe back pain to single-handedly take India to a memorable victory over Australia with a gritty unbeaten 73 in a nail-biting first cricket Test on Tuesday in Mohali.
Laxman, who reserved his best for the Australians, played almost a lone hand in India's run chase of 216 as his experienced colleagues fell to poor shot selection and umpiring error as he guided India to one of its most memorable Test victories.
Sachin Tendulkar was the second highest Indian scorer with 38 while young Ishant Sharma contributed an invaluable 31 in the Test which went down the wire.
With the victory, India took an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series and retained the Border Gavaskar Trophy with their seventh highest run chase in history.

Srilanka VS England Champions Trophy
England began their Champions Trophy campaign with a six-wicket triumph over Group B rivals Sri Lanka on Friday. Chasing Sri Lanka's 212 all out in 47.3 overs, England eased to 213 for four off 45 thanks to an unbeaten 62 in 83 balls from Eoin Morgan.
England slipped to 19 for two before Paul Collingwood launched a counter-attack, dominating a 63-run partnership with Owais Shah.Collingwood breezed to 46 off 51 balls with five fours and three sixes before chopping a delivery from fast bowler Lasith Malinga on to his stumps.
His dismissal brought Morgan to the crease and he and Shah combined for a 76-run stand off 94 balls.Shah was then caught by keeper Kumar Sangakkara off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan for a patient 44.
COMPETITIVE TOTAL
The left-handed Morgan went on to reach his half-century with his fifth boundary.
"We did not pick up wickets quickly enough and the Collingwood-Shah partnership was important to England," said Sri Lanka skipper Sangakkara.
"I thought Morgan understood his job very well and did the job required for his side. He played the anchor role that saw them through."
Earlier, half-centuries from Thilina Kandamby and Angelo Mathews helped Sri Lanka post a competitive total after slumping to 17 for four after being put in to bat.
Kandamby top-scored with 53 before being run out while Mathews chipped in with 52 as the pair combined for a sixth-wicket stand of 82.
Mathews was lucky on 51 when he appeared to have been run out after colliding with England seamer Graham Onions.
Although he was initially given out, Strauss called the batsman back.
Fast bowler James Anderson swung the new ball prodigiously, taking two for 11 in his opening seven overs before finishing with three for 20. All-rounder Stuart Broad also took three for 49.
The result leaves the group evenly poised with Sri Lanka, South Africa and England having won one game each.
On Sunday, England play hosts South Africa in Centurion while Sri Lanka meet New Zealand in Johannesburg.
